Being a child, I experienced a hard-to-describe feeling, a sort of ecstasy while visiting a Paul Klee exhibition at the Tate Gallery in London.

It happened several times during my childhood and teenage years, the last one at a Basquiat Exhibition at the LVMH Foundation in Paris. That is when I learned that those feelings, that I was not listening to, had a name: the Stendhal syndrome.

Despite all these episodes and although I was coming from a family of artists, I had not realized that I was also an artist myself, with the capacity to create beauty.

A long and boring cold winter in Berlin forced me to start painting, leaving behind all my professional background in luxury brands and entrepreneurship (interior design). And since then, I have not stopped painting as a self-taught artist.

My figurative and abstract paintings reflect my own style which does not follow any art trend but is instead based on my own personality and experiences. Topics like femininity are quite present in my works as I seek to share my perception of beauty through art.

For the past few years, I’ve lived in San Francisco where I had the chance to be a part of the ICB, a community of 100 artists under the same roof located in Sausalito. This life-changing experience pushed me to create a similar environment when I got back to my hometown, Barcelona: a lovely group of artists, called Uvedoble Art Studios. I believe that it is crucial to be surrounded by inspiring people who share the same passion in order to create powerful art. We open our studio to the public several times a year through Open Studio days. In addition, I am open for private visits by appointment.

I hope you enjoy my artwork as much as I enjoy creating it.

Hasta pronto!
